Our Father in Heaven, We come boldly before Your Throne of Grace lift up this injured motorcycle officer into Your Arms of mercy.  We are thankful to You Lord for sparing his life and ask You to grant the medical professionals wisdom and insight to properly diagnose and treat his injuries and restore him to complete health.  May You also be with the many other CHP officers, paramedics and first responders who were at the scene and uphold and encourage them with Your grace and mercy.  May Your peace especially extend to the family of this injured officer as they are very likely at the hospital supporting and rallying around him at this very emotional time.  Lord, we want to especially bring law enforcement motorcycle officers across America and abroad into Your presence as they are often the most vulnerable and susceptible to injury and danger. May Your mercy and grace also comfort the drivers and others who may have been injured and may Your healing touch be upon them, too. Grant the investigators wisdom to be able to piece together the facts surrounding this collision. May Your Presence and Grace surround every motor officer and protect them in every aspect of their jobs.  Lord, we also lift up the men and women of the California Highway Patrol—especially those co-workers who are close with this injured officer and ask for Your amazing grace to sweetly descend upon them as they support the family and each other at this very emotional time.    May every officer, friend and family member sense the presence of Your strength at this emotional time.  May they know You will always be their refuge and strength.  May they all come to intimately know they can always call upon You (anytime) for You intimately love Your Peacemakers.  And if this injured officer does not know You in a real and personal way, may You lead other Godly officers, chaplains or Christian friends to share Your love with him.  May many come to know just how much You love them, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
