O’Lord, Your word says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”  Lord, we, therefore, come earnestly and boldly before Your Throne of Grace to ask YOU to bestow Your abundant life upon this wounded peacemaker.   May Your Supernatural touch be upon this wounded servant and spare the life of this officer.  And as he is being treated by multiple medical professionals, we ask YOU to place the correct specialists in his path and that You would fill them with Your wisdom and insight to be able to accurately diagnose his injuries to develop a plan to treat and restore him to full health.  As we do not know if a suspect has been arrested, we ask You to pour out Your grace and mercy upon the entire Clarksville Police Department as we know this has emotionally challenged every member of the department.  Grant the investigators wisdom and insight to be able to gather the facts to bring the suspect to justice.  May Your love, grace, mercy, peace and comfort be multiplied upon the family of Your wounded peacemaker.  May You be their Rock, Fortress, Strength, Peace and their Deliver at this emotional time of uncertainty.  And if this wounded officer does not know You personally, may Your Holy Spirit speak to his heart and mind and may he know Your Word says, “come to all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give You rest.”  May this officer sense Your soft voice in his heart and call out to You to be his savior and Lord.  And if there are any officers who have fallen away from You, may they be drawn to You because of Your Amazing Grace and Love.  Surround every officer and family member with Your Presence and Peace.  May they know they can cast their cares upon You for You always care for them.  O’ Lord, spare the life of Your servant and fully restore him, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
