Lord Jesus, we, again, come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up this wounded St. Louis Police Sergeant into Your Healing Arms.  God—what is going on with all of these attacks upon Your Servants?  As the news reports her is being treated at a local hospital, we ask You to give the treating doctors an extra measure of grace and wisdom as they diagnose and treat his wounds.  May You bring about a full recovery.  And as there is a manhunt underway for these suspects, we ask You to give the investigators wisdom  and insight to use their investigative skills to track down and arrest those who tried to murder one of Your Peacemakers.  Lord, we ask You to pour out Your grace upon every member of the St. Louis Police Department and countless surrounding allied agencies as they must continue their daily duties with these suspects still on the loose. Lord, we ask You to be a Rock, Fortress and Deliverer to every law enforcement officer in Missouri and across the United States.  As we know the job of a peacemaker has been ordained by You, we ask You to raise up countless prayer warriors to pray continuously for these servants at all times.  May you fill every law enforcement officer with wisdom to always remember their training and instinct.  As the family of this sergeant is rallying at his side at the hospital, may they sense Your grace and comfort carrying them through this very emotional ordeal.  Continue to give the investigators wisdom to arrest these dangerous suspects quickly.  May Your Word, Lord, dwell richly the hearts of so many, “ He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”   O’ God, protect every officer across America at all times, in the name of Jesus Christ, our King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Amen.
