Praying for an injured Riverside County (CA) Sheriff’s Deputy and three New York City (NY) Police officers each struck by vehicles

Our Gracious Lord, we come before Your Throne of Grace at the beginning of 2024 to lift up for injured law enforcement officers from Riverside County and New York City each struck by a vehicle. As the news reports indicate they have non life-threatening injuries, we come into Your Presence Lord, the Great Physician, and ask for Your mercies and grace to intervene and touch these officers from head to toe. May You continue to grant the medical staff wisdom to use their skills and training to continue to diagnose and render the correct treatment in order to fully restore Your injured servants to complete health. May Your love, presence, mercy, grace and peace especially settle upon each peace officer’s family who are rallying at their side as we know they are filled with a multitude of emotions, anxiety and concern. May your grace and love especially touch the many other law enforcement officers and first responders who were at those scenes to render first aid to their injured comrades. May Your presence and peace also sustain them and uplift them with Your grace. Grant the investigators wisdom and insight to piece together the details of both incidents. As the suspects escaped in Riverside County, may You fill the investigators with wisdom and insight to use their skills and experience to locate and arrest those suspects. We especially lift up every member of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and New York City Police Department into Your Presence. May Your amazing grace to carry them through difficult days ahead as they rally around their injured comrades and friends. And if these injured officers do not know Your love, may You supernaturally speak to their heart and mind and reveal to them Your word as follows, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” As these officers are likely sedated, may Your Holy Spirit speak to their heart and may they intimately sense Your sweet presence with them right now. May You use this near-tragedy to draw many law enforcement officers unto Your side Lord as they love and support their injured colleagues. May You heal these injured officers in any way that will bring Glory to Your Name. Lastly Lord, may You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a tremendous support to any in need. May many be encouraged by Your word as follow, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” May many be drawn to the Love of Your Son in whom they can cast all of our cares upon. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Amen.
