Our Gracious Lord, it is with deep heart of sadness that we come unto Your Throne of Grace to lift the Moody County Sheriff's Deputy from an intentional on-duty collision, that took the life of Chief Deputy Sheriff Ken Prorok. As the men and women of the Moody County Sheriff's are mourning ever so greatly at this loss of their dear friend and co-worker, may Your love, presence, mercy, grace and peace especially settle upon his family as we know they are filled with a multitude of emotions at this sudden loss of their loved one. May your grace and love especially touch the many other members of the Moody County Sheriff's Department and first responders who were first on the scene as they attempted to save their injured comrade. May Your presence and peace sustain them and uplift them with Your grace. Grant the collision investigators wisdom and insight to piece together the details of this intentional collision in which the suspect was arrested. We especially lift up every member of the Moody County Sheriff's Department and countless other peace officers involved in that incident as they love and support the family of their fallen brother and each other at this very difficult time of loss. May they be comforted with Your words as follow, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Grant these law enforcement officers Your amazing grace to carry them through difficult days ahead. May the love of Christ supernaturally speak to the heart and mind of those in need and reveal to them that, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” May many law enforcement officers be drawn unto Your side Lord. May You use this loss at the farewell service to bring Glory to Your Name. May You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a tremendous support to any in need and pray according to Your word as follows, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” May many be drawn to the Love of Your Son in whom we can cast all of our cares upon. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Amen.
