Praying for a wounded East Lansdowne (PA) police officer and a wounded Lansdowne (PA) police officer

Our King of Kings, it is with a deep heart of thanks and gratitude that we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the men and women of the East Lansdowne and Lansdowne Police Departments as they rally around and support their wounded co-workers. As these officers have been treated with leg wounds in which they are said to not be life-threatening, may You continue to grant the doctors wisdom to identify and treat their injuries and restore them to full health. We are so thankful the lives of both officers were spared. May Your mercy, comfort, love, peace and presence touch the families of these law enforcement officers and sustain them with Your amazing grace as they rally around and support their loved ones. And as countless members of the East Lansdowne Police Departments, the Lansdowne Police Department support their co-workers through these near-death encounters, may Your Holy Spirit speak to their hearts to know Your word as follows, "Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land." And, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” O God, May Your peace that passes all understanding sustain those in need as there was a small army of officers involved in that incident in which the suspects status is unknown. As we know traumatic incidents like these can cause emotional trauma, may Your amazing grace preserve the hearts of those and draw them unto Your side. We lift all who need a touch of our Master's hand into Your Arms of Love. And in the weeks to come may many be drawn unto the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life and peace. May many come to know Your son, Jesus, as their Savior and Lord. May every officer and family member intimately know Your love, grace and mercy. Thank You again, Lord, for sparing the lives of every officer, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
