Our Gracious Lord, we come before Your throne of grace, O’ God, to seek Your grace and mercy for the U.S. Border Patrol and Texas National Guard in this tragic death of tow National Guard Soldiers der Patr0l Agent from a helicopter accident. As we know many law enforcement officers and National Guardsmen are grieving ever so greatly at this tragic accident, we lift them into Your Presence as they mourn the loss of their dear friends and co-workers. So Lord, we ask You to wrap Your Arms of Love around every member of the U.S. Border Patrol and Texas National Guard as they are in deep sorrow and grieving ever so greatly at this terrible loss. We especially want to lift up this critically injured agent into Your healing arms of love. May you spare the life of this agent and continue to provide this agent with the best medical care and bring about a full recovery. May Your peace, love, grace, mercy and everlasting comfort touch their hearts, minds and souls. As we know there were a number of other law enforcement officers and first responders who had to endure witnessing the aftermath of this crash scene first-hand, we ask You to pour out an extra measure of Your grace upon them as they had to endure this tragedy up close. And as the families of these fallen servants are in shock and mourning ever so greatly, we ask Your Amazing Grace to be made ever so real in their hearts and draw them ever so close to Your Son to be comforted by His loving presence. May You grant the investigators with supernatural wisdom and insight to determine the cause of this crash and use it to prevent any other accidents in the future. As we know there is an emptiness in the hearts of so many right now, may they be comforted with Your words as follows, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. So we say with confidence, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” So Lord, as the U.S. Border Patrol and Texas National Guard must now begin the process to say farewell to their fallen comrades, may You use that as an opportunity to draw many unto the love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness and everlasting life. And if any co-workers may have strayed from Your Path, may they be drawn back unto Your Side. Again Lord, supernaturally uphold the many family members and co-workers whose hearts are broken. Finally, may many hear Your good news for the first time that, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
