At times, would you agree it might be prudent or wise for a law enforcement officer to exercise discretion (mercy) when dealing with criminal suspects and not expect anything in return? Did you know the bible talks about those who extend mercy to others?  Check out what the bible says:  Click here

  • A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25(NIV)
  • Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Galatians 6:7(NIV)
  • Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9(NIV)
  • Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Matthew 5:7,9 (NIV)
  • Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16(NIV)
  • A generous man will himself be blessed… Proverbs 22:9a(NIV)
  • Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Luke 6:37b-38(NIV)
